Good to know

Questions before you hit the trail?

Do I need ATV experience?+

No. First-timers are welcome. Tell us your group's experience level and we'll plan a pace that feels comfortable while keeping the day adventurous.

Do you provide the ATV or buggy?+

Lemonski Tours provides the guide, not the vehicle. Bring your own buggy or ATV, or rent one locally. You drive your machine and follow Jay.

Are there restrictions on the type of machine I can bring?+

Lemonski Tours does not currently restrict the type of ATV or buggy you can bring on a tour. You may bring your own machine or rent one locally.

What permits, equipment, or documents do I need?+

Every rider is responsible for making sure their machine, equipment, permits, registration, licensing, and insurance meet all legal requirements for the trails. If you are renting, confirm what is provided and required with your rental company before tour day.

Are there minimum ages for drivers or passengers?+

Lemonski Tours does not add separate age restrictions. Every driver and passenger must meet all applicable legal requirements and, when renting, the rental company’s requirements.

Can you help me find a rental?+

Yes. The area's two major rental companies are Jericho Adventures at 111 Jericho Road in Berlin and Northeast ATV Rentals at 447 Main Street in Gorham. Reserve your buggy with one of them, then select that company when you book your tour. Jay will meet your group there. If you are bringing your own buggy, Jay will arrange a convenient meeting place with you.

Where do we meet our guide?+

If you're renting, Jay will meet your group at Jericho Adventures in Berlin or Northeast ATV Rentals in Gorham, depending on which company you're using. If you're bringing your own buggy, Jay will arrange a meeting place with you after you reserve your tour.

How much does a tour cost?+

A three-hour guided tour is $200 per group, with no additional tour charges. Large groups are welcome. Bring your own buggy or arrange a rental separately. Photos taken along the way are included. The online calendar reserves your tour time; you pay Jay separately later.

What should I bring?+

Arrive with a full tank of fuel. Dress for changing mountain weather and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. We'll share a complete ride-day checklist when your tour is confirmed.

What happens if the weather turns?+

Tours run rain or shine. North Country conditions can change quickly, so arrive prepared for all weather. In the rare event Jay must cancel because conditions are unsafe, you may choose to reschedule your tour or receive a refund.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?+

You may cancel or reschedule at no charge when you give us at least 72 hours’ notice. Changes requested within 72 hours of your tour are subject to availability. If you do not arrive for a reserved tour, prepayment may be required before you make another reservation. Call or text Jay as soon as your plans change.
